May 11, 2012 – $10 Request for Donation – Help Support Detroit Youth!
Hello,
My name is Sarah and I am a 3rd grade teacher in Detroit. Recently, I was selected to join Detroit4Detroit as a Citizen Philanthropist. I was so honored as I was able to partner with DAPCEP’s Little Engineers Project. It’s a pre-engineering program for Detroit students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade. As a teacher with Detroit children, I absolutely love this organization because I see the influence it has on our youth. My goal is to fundraise $1665. So far I have raised $276. It’s a good start, but we still have a ways to go. I am asking those who are able to please stop by the website and donate $10, or whatever amount you see best fit. Your donation will help send a Detroit child and their parent to this program. Please pass on the word and help give Detroit youth the support they deserve in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Your donation is greatly appreciated.
